I am a much travelled New Zealand born man.
A writer, artist, photographer, poet, public speaker, hydrographer, cartographer, entrpreneur, businessman, designer, engineer, inventor, visionary, historian, theologian and most importantly a disciple of Yeshua ha Maschiac (Jesus the Christ).
The term "Man from down under" is often liberally applied to all of Australasia but specifically refers only to a New Zealander. You see, the term means someone born on the opposite side of the world from Great Britain. And realistically that can only apply to New Zealand.
Projected through the earth Northland lies in Morroco, The North Island in Portugal and Spain and Invercargill in the Atlantic Ocean. The Antipodes Islands, which lies about 860 Km off the south east coast comes through in the English Channel just east of the Cherbourg Peninsula, so is closest to Greenwich in London, hence it's name as the antipode of Greenwich.
People from New Zealand are apt to be widely travelled, multi talented, broadly educated, back up their mates and have a 'can do' attitude that lends them to roaming the world seeking discovery and adventure.
